Are you more confused than ever about how to eat, move, and be healthy?
Well, you're not alone.
Never has there been so much access to information and divergent opinions on the optimal diet, fitness regime, and medical intervention. Yet, our children are sicker than we were at their age, and lifespan and birth rates are declining.
Okay, this sounds like a commercial. Identify or create a problem and offer a solution.
Cultivate a growth mindset
When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.

Guess what? There is no magic pill.
There is no one-size-fits-all best way to eat or move the body.
We are wired to conserve energy. I am not glorifying the past, but historically, we moved to eat. We had no choice, so we did it.
Sedentary behaviour is a natural consequence of modern conveniences that allow us to indulge in nutrient-deficient lab-made foods while working at our desks with minimal physical exertion.
We remain hungry when we don't provide the body with the building blocks needed to maintain itself.
When it comes to functional movement, what we don’t use, we lose.
In the past, outdoor living, finding or creating shelter from predators and extreme weather conditions, community, faith in a higher power, and foraging for various plant and animal food products sustained us.
I have relatives who lived this way well into their nineties, with no medical intervention other than emergency care, no refrigeration, or indoor plumbing. They were resilient.
Today, we rely on a fitness industry partly controlled by Public Health that, rather than promote self-sufficiency, creates ongoing demand for its services.
Physical exertion that does not provide meaningful service to others can leave some feeling exhausted rather than energized.
We outsource our healthcare to a medical model that thrives by creating fear about vulnerability to deadly infections and bad genes.
Less than 1% of illnesses have anything to do with genes. However, a victim mentality is crucial to maintain the medical infrastructure.
We are programmed to believe the following:
Invasive testing and medical intervention are prevention.
The underlying cause of most diseases is unknown.
There is no cure for what ails us. We need symptom management, which is highly lucrative and very disempowering.
A former pharmaceutical sales rep told me recently that she resigned from her high-paying job because her salary depended on her getting kids on more medications - to create patients for life.
Medical errors are consistently reported as the third leading cause of death in the United States.
We have given up our power to the pharmaceutical industry. We need to reclaim our sovereignty.
Change yourself to change the world
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them.

Sometimes, what we experience has to become unbearable to motivate change.
As devastating as COVID was, it created awareness of the corruption in public health organizations and medical institutions.
There is hope. It appears to some that the COVID machine that wrecked the world has destroyed itself.
Now, we need leaders who dare to pick up the pieces and revamp governance. We need to change the thinking that created our current reality.
