So many thoughts, so little direction

It's late Thursday evening. I just put our granddaughter to bed. For the time-being my priority remains her care.

Having committed to post a weekly blog, I sit here at a loss for words.

A child is a blessing whose care must be prioritized. There is little doubt in my mind, that reducing the workload for our daughter and her husband during an exceptionally busy month of their lives, is time well spent.

Having the opportunity to continue to plant seeds of hope among our children, who have the skillset and know-how to become great influencers, is the greatest contribution I can make right now.

This week, when our daughter mentioned that her husband had sent her an article inspiring parents to praise effort rather than intelligence, I couldn't help but grin. That was a seed we planted which they are now choosing to water. I wrote more about this in Challenged to grow.
