Eventually, you will come to understand that love heals everything and love is all there is.

~ Gary Zukav

It’s Valentine’s Day - a reminder to show up with love and compassion.

The body needs nutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats, water, vitamins, and minerals) to survive and be healthy.

But, without love, even the most nutrient-dense food and drink is insufficient for health and well-being.

If you are living in a place of blame and feeling hate in your heart, pay attention to how it affects you physically and mentally. We broadcast energy and attract good and bad through the quality of our thoughts, words and feelings.

While it is never right to condone bad behaviour, recognizing that hurt people hurt people is the first step in showing up with love and compassion.

Hate is a strong feeling, but it is not the opposite of love. A Course in Miracles states that the opposite of love is fear.

Fear makes us vulnerable. It puts us in fight, flight, or freeze mode, impairing our ability to break down food, absorb nutrients, heal, and repair.

Having witnessed many healing miracles in my life, I can assure you that a healthy dose of love is a key determinant of health.

So, when you feel the love today, don’t leave it undetected.
